How to Select Blogging Platform?

I’m not going to suggests anything here. I think every person has their own considerations when choosing the right blogging platform. There are also many discussions, debates and pro-cons about the best blogging platform on the web. However, successful blogging, indeed, determined by choosing the most suitable platform for you to use. It’s not the right one, or the best one. Again, it’s about which one that make you feel comfortable with.

There are a number of popular blogging platforms available on the internet, both free and paid. Popular blogging platforms include Blogware, Expression Engine, TypePad, Movable Type, WordPress.org, Blogger. This day, the two most popular would be WordPress and Blogger. Both offer free blog hosting as well as paid one. As a summary, Blogger is usually considered easier to set up and use for new bloggers. But that’s not absolutely true. One of my friends, a serious blogger, prefers to use Blogger with its free hosting feature as its main consideration. That’s mean, he just needs to buy a domain and let Blogger to deal with its hosting.

Another friend of mine, choose to use Worpress.org. For him, the main reason would be the easy customization feature provided by WordPress. By choosing WordPress, blogger can access a significant range of plug-ins and tools to make blogging more fun.
