Some leading directories such as Yahoo !, DMOZ, LookSmart, GoGuides, Joe Ant, and others require that you submit your site manually. It’s not just submitting, you should carefully choose a category where your website/blog should be listed.

That’s why, it is also important to give a proper description with your listing. The users of directory act differently compare to the search engine users. The directory users navigate through topical resources and use them for their convenient need. A well-written information will provide appropriate consideration to judge whether it is the site they need to explore or not. Choose directory category in the Yahoo pane, or just enter directory in the Yahoo search inquiry. Follow the instruction. Provide directory with useful information about your website/blog.
